The Late-Breaking Abstracts program is reserved for high impact research that did not become available by the general abstract submission deadline earlier this year. The program will feature a selected number of oral presentations of new and exciting clinical research. It is important to note that this research will not receive the same level of review as regular SfN abstracts and it will be held to a higher standard to ensure its relevance, significance, and quality.
SfN members may appear as presenting authors on no more than one late-breaking abstract. In addition, a member may not present two late-breaking abstracts in the same session and/or as paper posters or ePosters. Presenters of accepted late-breaking abstracts must be registered for the congress and will be required to attend in person or purchase a virtual-only registration. If the presenting author is unable to attend in person, co-authors will be permitted to present the research and are required to provide contact information for the submitting authors.
There are many reasons why someone might run behind schedule, and chronic tardiness can have serious consequences. In the workplace, it can lead to missed opportunities and damaged reputations. In personal relationships, it can strain and even damage trust. The good news is that there are several things people can do to improve their punctuality. One of the most important steps is to respect oneself and to love self-regard, which will translate into how a person treats others.
