A front-page story is the top story on the first page of a newspaper. The front-page usually contains major stories that affect the country that the paper is circulated in, but can include stories from other countries too. A newspaper’s front-page also teases other interesting stories that may appear inside the edition.
FrontPage (full name Microsoft Office FrontPage) is a WYSIWYG HTML editor and website administration tool from Microsoft for Windows line of operating systems, from 1997 to 2006. Microsoft has since announced two products that will replace Microsoft FrontPage: Microsoft Expression Web, which is targeted at the business professional and will work on SharePoint-based sites, and Microsoft SharePoint Designer, which will enable developers to create feature-rich sites.
FrontPage includes several features that make it easier for novices to build web pages and websites. The Split View feature allows users to view code in Code View and a preview of the page or website in Design View without having to switch between the two views. Intellisense, a form of autocompletion, helps speed up coding by suggesting tags and properties to the user as they type. FrontPage also provides a Tag Snippets tool that lets users store commonly used pieces of code for easy access later.
